Among the most important findings:

  • Highly-engaged companies are more likely to use one-on-one meetings between managers and employees.
  • Disengaged companies put less emphasis on employees getting face-time with leaders.
  • More and more highly-engaged workplaces are adding formal recognition software.
  • Nearly 90 percent of highly engaged companies reported that employee engagement was very important to their leadership team.
