What employee engagement best practices separate the best from the rest? We surveyed hundreds of organizations about their employee engagement strategy to find out what tools, tactics, and best practices highly engaged companies use that the rest don’t.
 

Some of the findings include:

  • Highly engaged companies are more likely to use manager to employee one-on-one meetings.
  • Disengaged companies put less emphasis on employees getting face-time with leaders.
  • Though not many highly engaged companies have formal recognition programs in place, they have become more important in the last six months.
  • Nearly 90 percent of highly engaged companies reported that employee engagement was very important to their leadership team.
