Omaha, Neb. (Feb. 16, 2012) — Quantum Workplace, well-known for its Best Places to Work contest, recognizes 10 organizations for excellence in employee engagement with the annual Employee Voice Award, given to clients represented nationwide.

The Employee Voice (EVA) honorees are recognized for their success in collecting, analyzing, and taking action on employee feedback. Quantum Workplace’s client recognition award is based on level of participation and employee engagement survey results. These honorees rose to the top with an impressive ability to implement engagement initiatives within their companies.

Employee engagement took a plunge during the recession, but as the job market recovers from alarming unemployment rates, engagement is improving.

“According to our nationally collected data through Best Places to Work, employee engagement is increasing, tracking along with the rise of the Dow Jones Industrial Average,” said David Weisser, Research Director at Quantum Workplace. “In fact, DJIA performance and employee engagement have been more closely connected recently than they were during the earlier part of the recession. This is likely due to heightened awareness among employees of changes in the market and how they impact the workplace.”

The EVA recognizes organizations in two categories: Raising Engagement and Highest Level of Engagement. Both awarded small, medium, and large-sized organizations. The following organizations are this year’s 2012 EVA recipients:

RAISING ENGAGEMENT:

SIFE

Willamette Dental Group

Royal Caribbean Cruises, LTD

HIGHEST LEVEL OF ENGAGEMENT:

Bethpage FCU

CommunityAmerica Credit Union

Navy Mutual Aid Association

Sundt Construction

Willamette Dental Group

Cubist Pharmaceuticals

Royal Caribbean Cruises, LTD

University of Phoenix

Cassidy Turley

Organizations represent industries in financial services, general contracting, restaurant and tourism, education, non-profit, and healthcare. As a part of the recognition, honorees will receive a custom engraved, six-foot rowing oar symbolizing the employees’ active contribution to steering the organization ahead.

“We are very excited to recognize these organizations for their ongoing commitment to engagement,” said Greg Harris, President of Quantum Workplace. “We like to celebrate these efforts in testimony of not only the success of the organization, but the partnership as a whole.”
